for the dog-lovers out there
 say a little prayer for our dog Katie (although I'm not sure about the theology of praying for pets, but I suppose if God looks after the sparrows, He looks after our woocher too). anyway, her tiny posterior has got some gross issues, and she's moping and limping around the house. hopefully it's no big deal, as we hate to see her suffer, and we really cant afford vet bills right now. soon we shall see.

it turns out she had an abscess (sp?) on one of her butt glands, which ruptured. yuck. so the vet cleaned it out and gave us some meds for her, and she should be fine in a little while. apparently it's not uncommon. and thankfully the bill didnt cost too much either.
You know, I read this earlier and was going to suggest that's probably what happened, but I got distracted at work. It's good you did take her to the doctor. Cats get them too, and I have to take my cat in this week to get his extracted (popped, yuck!).
Glad little Wooch is doing ok, and I'm glad you took her to the vet.
