our 6th anniversary is coming up soon (woohoo!), so we were trying to think of a good place to have a date-nite here in or near Chattanooga. a few stipulations for this particular occasion:
inexpensive is best
any ideas?

I recall when Mrs. The Puman was 6 month's pregnant with our third litter. We figured we'd need to get in under the wire, and lets just say, neighbors were calling the police and throwing stuff at our house by the time we were done.
So that's my recommendation to you.
1. The museum date: Hunter, planetarium, aquarium - much cheaper if you already have the pass
2. The bookstore date: after dinner head out to a nice book store browse and talk about what cool books you've read or would like to buy - cap it off with a purchase of something you've always wanted (it will almost always be cheaper than dinner or a movie)
3. Sunset at the bluff with picnic (could be just desert): while this is outside, it's about 10 degrees cooler up there, good breeze and the temp will have naturally gone down by then.
I have about ten more of these that I call upon when the need arises. As a married with kids man, they include the Home Depot date, the Sams Club date, etc. You'd be surprised how nice these little activities become without three kids in tow.
Take care and happy soon to be anniversary.
Is there like a paint-your-own pottery place in Chatty? It would be sort of out-ofthe-ordinary and you would have a memento of that moment in your life.
You're about to have your second child. Believe me, a sex date is just what you need. They'll be few and far between in the future.
while I appreciate you looking out for our best interests, let's just say we're doing fine. and given your propensity for puerility, I'd appreciate it if you kept the discussion, as well as your thoughts, out of our bedroom.
Hey you asked! Just trying to help a guy out, impart some of the wisdom via experiences I've accrued over the years.
The thanks I get.
The Puman! Stay away from Bob's bedroom and off of Bob's bed. You'll get your dang puhair all over the place, and nobody cares for your perverted voyeuristic habits.
There is, or at least there used to be, a walk in ceremics place in town called "Fire it Up."
Today I learned what puerility meant, and for that I thank Bob and I suppose Puman as well.
There is a pottery place in Warehouse Row that a friend recently took Sydney to. I'm not sure the name or price, but I know it's there. :)
We're big fans of the bookstore date. While I'm not one to be able to pick up a novel, read a few chapters and leave it behind, I love to sit and look through decorating books or garden design books, and Stephen's a "Map-aholic". Give the man an atlas and he's happy. And at the price of a cup of coffee, it's a cheap date.
Course with five kids, we're also familiar with "the Walmart date". . .
No suggesstions. Just wanted to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
You can get your wife a 'pregnancy massage' (im sure they have them in your city - or ask your midwife/Doctor) and pampering at a spa before you go out to a nice indoor supper. I'm sure she'd love that!!
Christain has a pregnancy massage table. And she does massage in her home, also she understands how to massage someone with fibro. I vote for that and the pottery place. You could each do a mug for the other person or something.
