that's our boy

Caleb went for his 9 month weigh-in, and he remains in the 90th percentile in height (~30 inches) and 50th in weight (20lb, 10oz), which is about where I've been my whole life.

we've recently started him on bits of table food, as he's refusing baby mush these days. it seems like he wants to feed himself, but his will is more advanced than his skills. so we cut up bits of pears, apple, peas, sweet potato, etc and he has a good time with it. of course cherrios still remain as the favorite.

so it seems like he'll grow up looking a lot like me, and probably have more of his mama's personality. cool.

just curious- how many teeth does Caleb have now? has the teething process been ok?

I think he's an early teether, and so was Michelle, and apparently it's hereditary. he's got 6 all the way in (4 top, 2 bottom), and #7 (on the bottom) is about to come through. thankfully, it hasnt been bad at all. he hasnt lost any sleep over it, but he's usually more fussy the day or two that it's about to break through. he also gets a diaper rash when one is on the way, but it's no big deal.
