paradise

this is my home away from home. my dad took this photo of the family cottage in vermont. while this is a beautiful view, behind us lies the beauty of Lake Bomoseen.

a little history (as far as I remember the stories): when my dad was young, his family began vacationing in Vermont. after renting for a while, they had the opportunity to buy the red cottage at the end of the line, about 100 yards or so from the lake. it's been in the family ever since. when my uncles were all grown up, they bought their own cottages on the line. now we have 4 generations making memories at the lake, and there are far too many stories to go into now. it truly is our home away from home, and my parents hope to retire there in due time.

we missed the family gathering this year, but we're very excited to take our boy next year.
